EASY MOJO MORSELS
These bite-sized powerhouses are great before or after a workout or for a snack in between meals. They keep your energy up and your cravings down, and they're fun for the kids to make too. So many reasons to give 'em a try!
3/4 cup (dry) oatmeal
1 cup nut butter (my favorite is cashew because it's smooth)
2/3 cup coconut flakes
1/2 cup raw cacao nibs
1/2 cup ground flaxseeds
1 tbs chia seeds
1/4 cup local raw honey (or 3 drops stevia liquid)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground clove
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
pinch of sea salt to taste
Stir or blend all ingredients together in a mixing bowl until thoroughly mixed.
Cover and let chill in the refrigerator for 30 mins.
Once chilled, roll into balls of the size you prefer.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy for up to a week.
(Makes about 20 - 24 balls)
